Lighting:
1. Use compact fluorescent lamps and fluorescent tubes.
2. Install motion sensors for lighting in stairways, corridors and less-frequently-used areas.
3. Draw up curtains or adjust venetian blinds to allow maximum use of natural daylight.
4. Replace flickering lights as they consume more electricity than usual.
1. Adjust the temperature to comfortable level, avoid it lower than necessary.
2. Air conditioners can be used with low-speed fans to evenly spread cool air. In this way, temperature can be set at a higher level.
